✨How many times have you said yes to things when you really didn’t have the time or the desire and deep down you really wanted to say no?

✨How often have you made excuses for the toxic behaviours of other people and didn’t trust or pushed your own feelings about the situation aside?

✨When did you last quietly agree when everything in your being was screaming “This feels wrong! Speak up!”?

✨These are all forms of self-abandonment.

✨Issues with your sense of safety, speaking up and self-empowerment are connected to our First, Third and Fifth chakras.

✨Many of us who have experienced childhood and other trauma have adapted unhealthy coping skills and strategies including people pleasing, self-abandonment and a lack of trust in ourselves and possibly even fear of our own power.

✨We can learn healthier new ways to relate, cope and find healing through therapy, meditation, Qi Gong, Reiki and other complementary healing modalities.

✨There is hope in healing in that we can begin to trust ourselves and open up to new opportunities to safely and positively express our voice and our power and always have our own backs.
